Today we launch our Newsletter so we can share with friends what is going on at the Stable. So, every month an electronic letter will be posted for everyone to enjoy. If you have a topic or comment please let us know. * This week we are sending off on new adventures several of our trusted staff. Ambriel is packing to join her husband in Canada to start their married lives. Brooke is starting nursing school in May. She will be an LPN in a year and launching her career. Hayley is enrolling at TTU full time this fall and will pursue her career aspirations. They all will be missed. *We also want to welcome back Kayla, after having a new baby last week and Luis who is returning from Pensacola, Fla. He is in a management trainee position with JC Penny's and will work on Wagon Ride evenings. Next week our new staff of Kelly, Perianna, Megan and Angela will begin their horse adventure with us. Please welcome them all. *The Standing Tall Therapeutic Riding Program is on pace to receive the 501 c 3 certification from the IRS in May. The Tennessee Dept of Revenue has authorized the solicitation of donations for the program. The first class this year is scheduled for June * Emily, is a member of the Cumberland County High School Horse show judging team. She placed 14th in Friday's horse judging competition in Cleveland, TN. She placed 2 out of 6 classes correctly making a 50 in both, which is the highest score for one class. This was her second time judging and first-time giving reasons. She thanks both her 4 H leaders and Wildwood Stables for all the support and help. * Line dance made its debut on wagon ride nights. It is lots of fun, good exercise, and free! Dancing begins at 4 PM every Tuesday , weather permitting. *The Gift Shop is filling up with lots a great items for kids of all ages. T-Shirts, jewelry, art work and handmade soaps are just a few of the goodies. Don't forget a Gift Certificate is a wonderful gift. *On a personal note our 6 year-old grandson placed 3rd in chute dogging at the Jr Rodeo. He competed in the 7 to 12-year old group and collected some cash. Way to go Chase!
Meet our Team Judy Gibson, Barn Manager Ms Judy has been at Wildwood Stable for 37 years. She started when it was operated by the Fairfield Glade Community Club. Her work with horses began as a teen in Cleveland, Ohio. Over the years she has competed in rodeos, horse competitions and judged events. Three years ago she was named the Senior Show Champion at the World Competition.
